When you google the name of this developer, Tim Marroquin, the previous apartments that he has done in Nederland pops up. These apartments are HUD, government subsidized housing. I'm concerned that this is what these apartments will also be. If this is indeed the case, we can only expect crime rates to go up and property values to decrease...
ReplyDeleteThe planning commission and needs to see a full room in opposition. The proposed land use is not consistent with the surrounding development, and people bought property knowing the zoning was R1/R2.
ReplyDeleteCome on homeowners...think about how this will affect YOU !! More traffic...higher crime ( especially if it is low income housing ) .. decrease our home values...can you justify this ??? I CANT !! I will be at the meeting and show my support to have this VOTED DOWN !!
ReplyDeleteThis is a very serious issue. I am very upset that the developer would use our area to make a buck by making apartments. Why would he not make homes like it is zoned for already? WHY? MONEY that's the bottom line!
